Jenna Dewan Tatum Shuts Down Haters Over Sexy Photo

Jenna Dewan-Tatum has always been open about herself, sharing sexy photos freely on her Instagram account and being just as open about her relationship with husband Channing Tatum. While this is not news, Jenna seemed surprised by the sudden hate she received on behalf of some moms out there in cyberspace, who feel that she should be more modest now that she’s a mom. While Ms. Dewan-Tatum didn’t launch a rant back at her haters, she did let them know she wouldn’t be intimidated by their social media bullying.
Jenna Dewan-Tatum Won’t Be Shamed
In a series of Instagram posts, Jenna Dewan-Tatum modeled her firmly toned physique, showcased in a sexy black lingerie set. In the first photo, Jenna is seated on an iron chair, out on a balcony that overlooks the city. She’s dressed in a black and see-through mesh teddy, while she sits with legs crossed and a cup of coffee in her lap. Showing her sense of humor and her love for the Spice Girls, she captions the photo with the suggestion that she’s mimicking Posh Spice at tea.
Another photo shows Jenna walking out onto that same balcony, still dressed in the sexy teddy. This time, she’s standing, as though walking away from the camera, and bearing her bum, revealing that the backside of the outfit is minimal with just a thin thong strap keeping her from bearing even more. For this picture, Ms. Dewan-Tatum called the image her “cheeky balcony series,” again expressing her humor.
Previously, Jenna explained her sexy photos, attributing her dancing career with helping her accept a more worldly view of body positivity and exhibitionism.
“I’m very comfortable in my own skin . . . you lose all modesty as a dancer,” Dewan-Tatum said. “I also think it’s just the way I came out. I’ve always been free-spirited, and it was hard to keep clothes on me as a kid.”
Haters Line Up To Bash Jenna Dewan-Tatum
Since posting the pictures, Jenna has received a slew of hateful replies, suggesting she should be setting a better example for her daughter, Everly. Instagram users chastised the dancer and actress for her behavior, suggesting a wife and mother should be acting differently in the public eye. Others admitted that Jenna does look appealing, but ought to be more modest and conservative in the way she presents herself.
Apparently, Ms. Dewan-Tatum saw the comments, though she didn’t directly address them on the social media site. Instead, she made another post. This time, instead of modeling her body, she posted a quote in the form of an internet meme.
“You can tell who the strong women are. They are the ones you see build up one another instead of tearing each other down.”
Adding to the unattributed quote, Jenna captioned the picture with a message of her own.
“To all the strong women out there. May we be them, may we know them, may we raise them,” wrote Jenna Dewan-Tatum. “Rise above judgment and step into love.”
